Do you only do kitchens and bathrooms?
Kitchens and baths are our specialty and where most of our projects focus — but Dollhouse Construction is a full general contractor. Additions, ADUs and whole-home remodels are all handled under the same CSLB license.
What areas do you serve?
San Dimas, Glendora, La Verne, Claremont, Upland and the surrounding San Gabriel Valley foothill communities within about 25 miles of San Dimas.
Is the design consultation really free?
Yes. The in-home visit, the on-the-spot sketch, and the written quote are all free with no obligation.
Do you have an architect on staff?
Yes — layout, structural work and permits for your kitchen or bath are handled in-house.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. CSLB License #1045801, held by Dollhouse Construction Inc. Bonded and insured. Verify in 30 seconds at cslb.ca.gov.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
Refresh: 3-4 weeks on site. Mid-range with new cabinetry: 6-9 weeks. Full custom with layout or structural changes: 9-14 weeks. Design and permits add a few weeks before construction — we give you both dates in writing.
Can we use the kitchen during construction?
Not the kitchen itself, but we help you set up a temporary kitchenette and we contain dust to the work zone so the rest of the home stays livable.
Do you design the kitchen, or do I need my own designer?
We design it in-house. Our licensed architect handles layout, structure and permits, so you get one plan and one team from sketch to finished kitchen.
Do you build custom cabinets or install stock?
Both, to fit your budget — refacing, semi-custom, or full custom millwork built to your exact space. We'll tell you straight which makes sense for your kitchen.
