Who we are
This site is run by Dollhouse Construction Inc, a family-owned remodeling company in San Dimas, California (CSLB #1045801). "We" and "us" mean Dollhouse Construction Inc. This policy explains what we collect when you use this site or ask us for an estimate, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name and phone number (required for an estimate request), and optionally your email, project address and notes about what you are planning. If you use a mood-board or design tool, your choices in it.
- Visit data: pages you view, clicks, which step of a form you reached (not what you typed before you submit), device and browser type, approximate city and region from your IP address, the page that sent you here, and ad campaign identifiers in the link you came from.
- Cookies and similar identifiers: first-party cookies that remember which ad or page brought you here, and cookies set by Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, listed below. We self-host our fonts, so no font provider receives your visit.
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your request and schedule an estimate.
- To contact you about your project, including a confirmation email after you submit the form.
- To understand which pages and ads lead to real requests, so we can improve the site and stop paying for ads that do not help.
- To keep our records and meet legal and tax obligations once work begins.
Advertising tools, and your choices
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We use Google Analytics to measure visits and the Meta pixel to measure our ads. These tools can collect information about your visit. When you submit a request, Meta may also receive a scrambled (hashed) version of your email or phone number, plus your IP address and browser type, so we can measure and target ads. Under California law this can count as "sharing" or "selling" for advertising.
Your choices:
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and do not load the Google or Meta tools for you, and we do not send your details to Meta.
- Opt out of interest-based ads through aboutads.info/choices, or in your Google and Facebook ad settings.
- Email us at the address below and we will stop sending your details to ad platforms.
"Do Not Track" browser headers are not a standard we can reliably act on; the Global Privacy Control signal is the one we honor.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We offer these to everyone who asks. We will not treat you differently for asking.
To request deletion or a copy: email projects@dollhouseconstruction.com from the address you used with us, or call (626) 991-8219. Tell us your name and phone number so we can find your record. We aim to respond within 45 days. We may keep what we need for an active job, for tax and legal records, or to resolve a dispute.
How long we keep it, and security
Requests are kept while we work with you and up to 24 months after a request is lost, then deleted. Job records are kept as long as tax and contractor-law rules require. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except where we have to keep it.
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and reputable hosting, but no website or system is perfectly secure.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the new version here.
